These guidelines apply to all areas or the community and should be read
before posting. Registering and posting on this forum signifies agreement to abide by these guidelines.
We require that:
1. All forum members must treat each other with respect and must not post material that is abusive, defamatory, libellous, harassing, hateful or obscene. It is
unacceptable to make personal attacks on other users either in public forums or via private messages. It is recommended that any criticism should be
constructive and accompanied by examples. General attacks on a person, group or opinion will not be tolerated.
2. All threads must be relevant to the forum in which they are hosted. Responses within a thread should be
"on-topic" (pertain to the discussion). Threads / posts which are off topic may be moved / closed by a moderator.
3. Forum posts should be of interest to the general community. Should a discussion become a debate among a very small number
of users they should use the private messaging feature provided.
4. Duplicate posts in multiple threads will be considered spam. Duplicate messages will be deleted or consolidated by the moderators.
5. Commercial organisations / representatives may only post with prior permission from the administrators. Legion of Dreams Ltd reserves the right to include
limited commercial content in this Forum at its sole discretion.
We (Legion of Dreams Ltd (LoD) and appointed volunteers) reserve the right to take appropriate steps to keep discussion in line with the above guidelines. The
moderators/administrators of this site may, without notice, access or view all material (including posts, profile information, emails sent through the forum
software). They may edit/remove inappropriate messages, lock a discussion thread, edit or delete profanity, spam postings, or posts that reveal private
information. We reserve the right to ban any member who violates our guidelines, disrupts the forum or in our view brings the good names of LOD or Live
Role-playing into disrepute. We will be fair and provide warning in most cases.
If you have any comment, question or issue with any post on this forum,
please report it directly to the forum administrators (see below). We will review the post and edit/delete if necessary. If someone has posted copyrighted
material or otherwise illegal material, please notify us so that it may be removed. Requests for access to restricted areas or the set-up of private "In
character" forums should be likewise be addressed to the forum administrators.
The forum the moderators and administrators are volunteers that give up
their time to help build a better forum community. They are appointed by the directors of LOD and given responsibility to assist with focussing topics and
enforcing guidelines. They have full authority to edit/delete posts, to move, create, close or delete topics, and to moderate users' posts.
